What do we do?
Eyetec.net is dedicated to training new students for a career in ophthalmology and to advancing the careers of ophthalmic medical personnel. We do this by providing effective certification exam prep courses, and basic and advanced eye tech training for new students, ophthalmic assistants, ophthalmic technicians, and ophthalmic technologists.

How to Pass the Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT®) Skills Exam
The eyetec.net "how to pass" course for the certified ophthalmic technician (COT®) skills exam uses discussion and animations to take you step-by-step through the exam software procedures. The animated illustrations look very similar to what you will encounter on the exam. The advantage is that you can become familiar with the software in a short period of time and at a reasonable cost. Another advantage is that you are instructed in the correct steps and the correct order of the steps. The main disadvantage is that it is not interactive. More information here.

The eyetec.net prep course for the ophthalmic technologist (COMT®) exam is a comprehensive tutorial covering all of the exam content areas in depth. This course is designed to supply the didactic training needed to take an unexperienced new hire to the level of a productive ophthalmic team member within a period of 12 weeks or less when supplemented with hands-on experience in a clinic environment.
