After Dec. 31, 2021, eyetec.net will no longer host JCAHPO CE courses

What this means to you:

If you need JCAHPO CE credits:  You can take advantage of our low CE course fee of $10/credit hour by signing up for courses before Dec. 31, 2021. You will have until March 7, 2022 to complete the courses.

If you want to take the COA Exam Prep Course and you need CE credits:  Sign up for the COT Exam Prep Course before Dec. 31, 2021. The COT prep course also includes the COA exam prep course. Until Dec. 31, the COT Exam Prep Course also includes 12 CE credits. After Dec. 31 you will still be able to purchase the course, but it will not include CE credits. You will have until March 7, 2022 to complete the CE course credits.

You can check which courses you have taken, and which dates you took them, by going to your "My CE Credits" page after login. There is a link to this page on the "courses" tab on the top menu bar.

Why are we discontinuing hosting JCAHPO CE credit courses?

JCAHPO has raised by a whopping 66% the fees that eyetec.net must pay to present continuing education courses (CE courses). We have to pay the fees up front in one lump sum for the ability to host courses for a period of 2 years. Because of the fee increases, it is no longer certain that we will be able to cover the cost by collecting course fees over the 2 year period. We could significantly raise the fees that we charge, but simple economics suggests that fewer people will take the courses with an increase in the fees charged. We also believe that CE courses should be reasonably priced, therefore these JCAHPO fee increases are forcing us out as a host of CE courses.
